Episode 7.6 (Halfway point this Season) Title Announced
The episode title of the sixth episode of season seven is The Crack in the Code. That officially puts us at the half-way point in season seven (there will be thirteen episodes). Each episode sounds amazing. It's going to be a great, albeit fast, season!

Matt's Insider Line: Sept. 1st
Bones | As we all know, Booth this season will be vexed by a new recurring villain, before the Fox series breaks for Emily Deschanel’s maternity leave. The foe has previously been summed up as a “tech-savvy” adversary, but now I’ve got new, juicy details. Pelant, as he is called, fancies himself a “hacktivist,” and is currently under house arrest for — among other techy transgressions — shutting down the DoD’s communications network, putting soldiers’ lives at risk. But as testament to his craftiness, even though an ankle monitor keeps him from stepping past his front lawn and despite the fact he’s got no Internet (the horror!), Pelant is somehow carrying out a murder spree. Sounds like more than enough to keep Booth busy when he’s not shopping for a pram.

Just something VERRRRRYYYYYY interesting I thought you'd like to see.
When Brennan goes into Booth's room in the middle of the night the clock shows it is 4:47, this is the exact same time shown on the clock next to Booth's bed in the first scene of the 4th season finale, "The End in the Beginning." This is also the time that the clock in the victim's apartment continuously flashes in "The Beginning in the End."

My Question Answered by Michael Ausiello!
Question: Have any other spoilers about the new season of Bones? Please? I’m dying here! —Cassie
Ausiello: Mom-to-be Brennan and new-mom Angela finally have something to talk about besides unrequited romance, and Michaela Conlin couldn’t be happier. “There’s been a lot of scenes with the two of them talking about strollers and baby gear,” offers Angela’s portrayer. “I’m really glad that they’re getting a chance to talk about something other than Brennan and Booth getting together. Instead they’re talking about hormones, sleep patterns and names.” Conlin is also pleased that her onscreen son, Michael, is getting a nice chunk of screen time. “I like that we’re seeing the baby a bit,” she says. “I thought maybe he would just be in day care all season. It’s been fun for me to have a real, live child in my arms after so much talk about it.”

Won't Be Disappointed
EP TO ‘BONES’ FANS: YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED
When Hart Hanson told me before the end of last season that the show was going to somehow circumvent the Moonlighting curse, I was skeptical. Then, boom! Bones is with baby. So when I caught up with Hanson at Fox’s TCA party last week, we chatted about the cost of bypassing what some think of as the best part of TV couples who finally get together: Actually seeing them being a couple.
“I really feel like we got to jump the part where the Moonlighting curse could get its teeth in. I always thought the Moonlighting Curse was when two people have sexual tension and then everything’s [suddenly] fine and the world looks the same. What do you to then? We don’t have that. The world does not look the same,” he says. “They got together and we get to start again from a different place.”
So does that mean we’ll never fill in the blanks? Never get a taste of the gooey center of this plot candy? Not necessarily… “I want everyone to tune in to see that. I don’t want to say it’s going to happen, but I do believe people will be pleased with what they see,” he says with a smile. “I think the first images of the new season will explain a lot. I don’t want to blow anything, but people will be as interested and excited as [the creative team is] in where all these characters are.”

TV ADDICT
From the sex of the baby, to whether or not Booth and Brennan are going to live together, November 3rd is far too long to wait for BONES to return. Help me TV Addict, you’re my only hope! — Allie
The TV Addict: Okay, here’s the thing. Knowing full well how desperate BONES fans are for even the teensiest morsel of information with regards to their favorite couple (Yes, we said it, actual, honest-to-goodness couple. Finally!) our number one mission at the recent FOX TCA Party was to corner anyone even remotely related to BONES and pepper them with questions. That’s the good news. The bad news is that creator Hart Hanson has his cast trained incredibly well, to the point that the only thing the usually talkative Michaela Conlin (Angela) would spill is that Booth and Brennan’s living situation will be made abundantly clear in the show’s first episode back. What’s more, she knows the sex but isn’t clear on the name and jokingly referred to the baby by the famous androgynous fictional SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE character, “Pat,” when asked what name she’d give the baby if given the choice!
BONES scoop please!!! — Melissa
The TV Addict: Are you a fan of cryptic messages that could mean practically anything? If so, you’re really going to appreciate the incredibly ambiguous tease that creator Hart Hanson gave us as he held court amidst a gaggle of reporters during the recent Fox TCA Party, “The first scene shot is going to amaze people, the show looks different.” Read into that what you will.

What's the latest on Sweets and Daisy on Bones? — Megan
ADAM: "Daisy is definitely a part of Sweets' life," John Francis Daley tells us, and we can confirm Daisy will appear early in Season 7. But Sweets may have bigger fish to fry. "He is more active in the investigations because Brennan is slightly less able to go on the scene and get herself into dangerous situations," Daley says. "So, you're going to see more of Booth and Sweets working together as FBI agents." Even better, creator Hart Hanson tells me that for the first time ever, Sweets will be packing heat! [Cue the Aerosmith song.]

Bones Episode Count Season 7
Bones, meanwhile, appears to be on much more solid ground, even though only 13 episodes are expected this season, due to Emily Deschanel’s maternity leave, the late start dictated by same, and the plan to share its Thursdays-at-9 time slot with spin-off The Finder. “We’ve been pretty darn happy with the performance of Bones,” especially as the now-relocated CSI began to wane, Reilly effused. “God bless Bones that they have delivered” to to Fox a solid relationship-procedural hybrid.

Given how many rumors are floating around about how many hours BONES season 7 will be (Fox ordered a full season, but given series star Emily Deschanel’s real life pregnancy, it will be impossible to film all 22 hours), Give Me My Remote took the chance at TCA to try and clarify the show’s status.
“13 BONES this year,” Fox’s President of Entertainment, Kevin Reilly told me after the executive panel at TCA. “13 BONES, 13 FINDER. Because [Deschanel]‘s pregnant. We’ve said, if you come back early, we’ll do a few more, but we can’t…it’s just going to be physically impossible to get the full order.”

Character Profile: Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan (aka Joy Keenan)
Joy Keenan was to Max and Ruth Keenan. She had an older brother, named Kyle. At the time she was about three years old, her parents had to change their names, as well as the names of Joy and Kyle.
Joy Keenan became Temperance Brennan. Her brother became Russ. And her parents became Matthew and Christine.
At the time, Temperance was much too young to remember all of this.
For the next twelve years, the Brennan family lived as normally as possible. Though Temperance was somewhat anti-social and awkward, she was also very intelligent. She evidently had a steep learning curve and an interest in Science, as her father taught Science in a nearby Chicago High School. She even attended an Organic Science class in her youth.
In fact, everything seemed to be going perfectly fine until the Christmas Temperance was about fifteen years old, her parents said goodbye to her one morning and then never came back.
Temperance was in mourning over not knowing exactly what happened to them for days.
Until Christmas morning, when she found all her and her brother's Christmas presents under the tree and the house decorated.
Thinking her parents had returned, Temperance was naturally excited.
That is, until she found out that all this was set up by her older brother, Russ, nineteen at the time, who wanted to make the day special.
This only served to make Temperance more upset and she refused to open her presents, causing her brother pain and to eventually leave to work out West.
Being only fifteen, Temperance was put into Foster Care until her grandfather could get her out.
She faced many hardships, including abuse, in her Foster Homes, until she turned eighteen and went off to college.

I must know more about Bones' new squintern! — Wesley
ADAM: He exists in the overlapping section of a Venn diagram with circles labeled "young," "redneck" and "genius." (Think Doogie Howser with Larry the Cable Guy's accent.) Although Cam welcomes him to the Jeffersonian, Caroline isn't exactly brimming with Southern hospitality. Why not? It seems that despite all his fancy book-lernin', the Doog used to "git-r-done" in juvie.
